Cashbook supports SMS and email notifications for batch authorisations using Twilio as the SMS provider. Before configuring Cashbook, you will need a Twilio account.
Step 1: Sign up for Twilio
Visit www.twilio.com and register for an account. Note: if using a trial version of Twilio, you must verify your phone number before you can send messages. Twilio will provide you with a phone number to use as the sender.
Step 2: Gather your Twilio credentials
From your Twilio account, collect the following:
Step 3: Configure notifications in Cashbook
Navigate to C/B Setup | C/B Options | Notifications and enter the following:

| Host | Select Twilio |
| Account SID | Your Twilio Account SID |
| API Key SID | Your Twilio API Key SID |
| API Key Secret | Your Twilio API Key Secret |
| From SMS Number | Your Twilio phone number |
| Notifications for Authorisations | Check to enable |
Step 4: Test the setup
Enter a mobile number in the SMS Phone To (Test) field and select Send Test SMS to confirm the connection is working before going live.
