Software Assurance Expiry Rules for Products Purchased Before 2012
Products purchased before the 2012 (6.1A) release do not expire in the same way — they show a daily reminder instead.
Does the 30-Day Expiry Rule Apply to Older Products?
No. Products purchased before the 2012 (6.1A) release continue to operate and do not expire under the 30-day rule.
When SA is due on these older licences, a once-a-day reminder appears when any of the following are accessed:
- Batch List / Batch Entry
- Post Batches
- Bank Reconciliation
- RecXpress
The 30-day expiry rule only applies to products purchased after the 2012 (6.1A) release.
