Cashbook Batch Authorisations - Setup and How They Work
How to set up and use multi-level batch authorisations in Cashbook, including factors, the authorisations pop-up, notifications, Override flag, and editing authorised batches.
A Bank Transfer batch allows you to transfer Cashbook transaction entries between bank accounts, including multi-currency transfers with exchange rates.
The Bank Transfer function in Cashbook allows transaction entries to be transferred between different bank accounts.
How it works:
Multi-currency transfers:
If multi-currency is activated, full currency information can be entered. For example, if the transferring bank is in Yen and the receiving bank is in Dollars, you can enter the exchange rate between the two currencies.
Note: Cashbook does not calculate exchange gain or loss on bank transfers, as these calculations do not affect the bank account directly. The General Ledger will calculate or re-evaluate the gain or loss for each transaction.
