Applying for a New Bank Format
If your bank statement format or EFT output format is not in the Peresoft format list, you can apply for it to be developed. All new formats are made available to all users once developed.

Updating Bank Formats - RecXpress and EFTXpress
Peresoft regularly releases updated and new bank formats. If you do not update your formats you may be missing new formats or your existing formats may not reflect the latest changes from your bank. This is a step users often miss.
Why update?
Peresoft regularly releases updated and new bank formats. If you do not update your formats, you may be missing new formats, or your existing formats may not reflect the latest changes from your bank.
RecXpress - Update Bank Formats:
- Open RecXpress.
- Select File | Update Bank Formats.
- The system will connect to Peresoft and download all available format updates.
- To confirm your format is available, use the Region drop-down list to check the bank formats list.
- In the bank formats table, select the drill-down button in the Format Name column to view the actual bank format detail.
EFTXpress - Update Bank Formats:
- Open EFTXpress.
- Select File | Update Bank Formats.
- The system will connect to Peresoft and download all available format updates.
- To confirm your format is available, go to Setup EFTXpress Banks and select your bank code.
- In the Bank Format field, use the drill-down to view the full format specification and the fields used by your bank.
Note: An internet connection is required to update bank formats. If the update fails, ensure peresoft.com is listed as a trusted site in your Internet settings.
