Cannot Print Cheque for EFT Batch - Print Button Disabled

From version 2024, cheque printing is no longer available for EFT batches. Only advice printing is supported.

From version 2024, cheque printing is no longer available for EFT batches. The cheque print button will be disabled. Only advice printing is supported.

To print an advice for an EFT batch:

  1. Ensure you have the latest Cashbook hotfix installed.
  2. Set the Report Style to Advice Only.
  3. Set the Report Format to Advice on Top.
  4. Prior to version 2026, the EFT reference must be entered manually in Batch Entry | Ref/Cheque field.

When posting an EFT batch you receive an error that bank details have not been approved. From version 2026, EFT banking details must be approved in Miscellaneous Codes before a payment can be entered.
