First ensure the user has Approve Miscellaneous Batch Details checked in Security Groups | EFTXpress.

Versions 2024 and 2025:

When saving a batch, if changes have been made to the EFT details, the user will be prompted to update Miscellaneous Codes with those changes.

Version 2026:

With enhanced security, changes to EFT details directly in Batch Entry are no longer permitted. In Batch Entry the user can only select an alternate Account Number and add a Beneficiary Reference.

To update EFT details:

1. Make the changes in C/B Setup | Miscellaneous Codes | EFT tab.
2. When saving, the user will be prompted to update open batches with the changes.
3. Alternatively, select File | Refresh EFT Batches to push all Miscellaneous Code changes to all open batches at once.
